preppy warm.

jumper: topshop
blouse: new look
leggings: topshop
earrings: asos
rings: topshop

This outfit was surprisingly cool even with the weather outside. Not that I did a lot to make me extremely warm today. I'm busy getting ready for a wedding at the weekend (Sunday) and lets not forget Wrestlemania! I'm really psyched for the wrestling (don't judge me).

I don't really have much to talk about other than uni work. My life is particularly dull. Looking forward to the summer and hopefully some more eventful things, please!

casual chic.

top: american apparel
coat: vintage
faux fur: dorothy perkins
leggings: topshop
necklace: h&m
rings: gift, forever 21

I really love this coat. You guys don't realise how much. I really want to wear it to uni but can't because I fear people will judge me. Stupid really isn't it but I guess I'm one of those people who cares a little too much what people think of them. Sometimes you can't go wrong with a rich burgundy and camel pairing. Neither can you go wrong with a slouchy t-shirt and some leggings. This outfit was perfect combo. Shame I can't say the same about my makeup which just looks terrible. That's what you get when it wears off, unfortunately! Try and ignore it if you can... Haha!

sunday snap #73.

#1. Seriously thinking that technology has something against me this week. Now my iPhone thinks it's okay to pack up on me and keep freezing. It'll be okay for about two hours, which is usually in the morning and then come about 11am it'll just freeze. Granted I've had my phone for over three years and I have dropped it a couple of times - this is expected due to these reasons alone - but the fact that everything is breaking at the same time is frustrating me so much! Looks like I'm gonna have to get a new phone ASAP.

#2. Been working hard on assignments this week. I've been wanting to get ahead of deadline dates and I think I'm doing okay. I'm slightly wary about one of those assignments - I'm not too sure about whether my topic is right, or whether I've gone about something in the correct manner. Lack of confidence can sometimes be such a ballache (yes, I really did type that word!)

#3. Had my macbook looked at and am waiting to hear from the apple store as to whether it can be fixed. If it can it's going to cost up to 350£! So ridiculous but then again I need my laptop don't I? Hello Bank of Dad.

#4. This time next week I'll be at my best friend's sister's wedding! Definitely won't have a Sunday Snap up next week. I may try and put together a wedding blog, that's if I can find my camera and all that jazz. Seem to be losing everything lately, that or it's breaking on me. Really looking forward to wearing my complete outfit and the whole wedding vibe (love weddings!), cannot wait!

#5. I found five blogs that I loved this week that I think everyone should check out! kelly-yes.blogspot.com, the beauty lookbook, the notice, willworkformakeupand viviannadoesmakeup.com(absolutely love vivianna!).

top: american apparel
leggings: topshop
scarf: h&m
necklace: h&m
earrings: primark
rings: h&m, forever 21

These pictures were taken Monday but I didn't get around to posting them. I don't really know what to write about this if I'm honest and I don't know whether it's because I'm not the hugest fan of the outfit or because I feel slightly ashamed at how messy I look. Then again we all have those days and this blog is supposed to depict how I actually dress, feel etc...

American Apparel to me sometimes can be incredibly over priced for the quality of its items. This jumper/top (it's not quite thick enough to be classed as a jumper to me anyway) was something that I picked up from the sale on ASOS. I can't remember what I paid for it but it definitely wasn't over 30£ unlike the original price which I believe was like £50+... Ridiculous really!

wednesday wants #22 - scarf print.

Scarf Print appears to be the next big thing, but I have to say something that I don't quite like about this trend is how everything is so samey. Black and pink with gold chains, everyone who picks up this look is going to look the same. Personally I don't think that's too great considering fashion should be a way of expression. Anyway because this trend is no doubt going to be everywhere I thought I'd post a Wednesday Wants showing you how I'd put together some outfits showcasing this trend.

watch, earrings, dress, shoes, clutch

Outfit one reminds of something Caroline Flack would wear. A dress with a collar that extenuates the waist and flares out at the hips is perfect to compliment any womanly shape. This dress of Topshop is one of those pieces that would stand out easily on a night out and looks incredibly trendy when paired with the right items, such as a leather jacket and white sneakers, for a hipster feel. Gold accents compliment both the gold and pink on the dress, completely the look perfectly.

shorts, top, tights, clutch, earrings,shoes

Nightclubbing and want to wear this trend without look too in fashion, then Outfit two is for you. (Sorry that sounds so cheesy with the rhyming which was totally unintentional). All black creates a smooth silhouette and again picking accents rounds the outfit off, but without being too matchy matchy.

trousers, top, denim jacket, rucksack, earrings, shoes

Outfit three has to be my favourite, if you're feeling daring I would dive straight into this type of outfit for the daytime. Of course I wouldn't be able to pull it off at all, but I'd like to think I would and dream haha! By keeping everything else of the outfit simple I've made it so that the trousers showcase the trend and become the focal point. A simple denim jacket makes adds a spring feel to the outfit perfectly whilst the blouse and lace shoes nod to the boy-girl trend of last year.

sunday snap #72.

#1. My lack of computer is really annoying me so much now. Last week I was beginning to get used to it but I'm still mourning. Hoping to get to an Apple shop next weekend to finally get the show on the road and make some progress in seeing what the problem/possibly getting it fixed. Who know a material object could mean so much?!

#2. Really been loving listening to music this week. Maybe it's because I've been working on assignments and I like to have something playing in the background whilst I work. My ultimate choice has been Emeli Sande's album - Our Version Of Events. She is brilliant and I would love to see her live. I definitely recommend that if you don't have her album pick it up or head over to YouTube and search for some songs. They are incredible.

#3. Because my second year of uni is nearly coming to an end I was wondering if anyone would recommend so books? I'm wanting to get back into reading over this summer break that's coming up - I'm even thinking of getting a kindle (I've got to wait though and see how much my laptop repairs are gonna cost first obviously!) I like light reads, girly stuff, but I'm open to ideas. If anyone is reading this, drop some of your favourite books below. Would be a great help. :)

#4. I just want to say Happy Mother's Day to my lovely, amazing Mother! She really is the best and I would definitely be lost without her.... Hope you had a great day Mom! :)

#5. There is a follow five this week because I haven't had a chance to actually scout around looking for blog unfortunately! Hopefully I'll have found five blogs that I love next week to post for everyone!

spotty spot.

cardigan: primark
playsuit: asos
tights: topshop
necklace: h&m

I haven't worn this playsuit in so long. The last time was when I was in Ibiza last year. I don't usually wear something like this for the daytime but I've been trying to be a bit different and get out of my legging wearing stage. It's coming up black on the pictures but is actually navy on the top, it actually works really well with the colour of my Primark cardigan.

My lie-in today was glorious. I love not having to set my alarm on the weekends, I think it's something I live for, but don't most of us? Had Soccer AM on in the background as I did some work, I really love that programme. I can be such a boy sometimes with my choices, football is something that I really love to keep up with. I used to love to go to matches with my Dad at the weekend but that's died down now, I occasionally go with my best friend though (usually to local derby's and such).

Nothing much to say, think I've got a couple of product reviews coming up on the blog soon if I can get around to photographing the items. It's on my to-do list so it'll get done eventually!

double trouble.

denim shirt: topshop
denim shorts: new look
tights: topshop
rings: h&m, dorothy perkins, forever 21

I would just like to point out that this outfit isn't something I have ever worn ever! It is just something that I was photographing when I was bored to see what it looked like and I decided I wanted to post it. I don't really see the big problem with mixing denim. Personally I don't think that these two items look horrible together. Then again I probably wouldn't really wear this in public so I'm being a bit of a hypocrite and quiet contradictory.

I've been trying to focus on my essay work today. I have to say I haven't done a lot but I guess you have to look at it on the positive side and say to yourself "you've got a lot more work done than you had done this morning". Maybe that's just an excuse for my laziness, I don't know. Hoping to get my Macbook booked into the Apple store for next weekend. My Dad has said that he'll pay for it to be fixed so at least I don't have to majorly worry about the costs anymore. I'm really missing my baby (as in my laptop) haha! Sad life.

Aussie Miracle Hair Insurace Leave-In Conditioner.

buy this aussie hair product here!

Aussie products are known as being the best brand to reach for if your hair is looking in dyer need of some TLC. I originally bought this product to take on holiday with me last year, knowing how easy sun and chlorine can damage hair. After seeing the results and how my hair looked so much better even with the change of climate it's a no brainer for me to use this all the time now.

I'm one to sometimes be lazy when it comes to my hair often "forgetting" to spray heat protector etc on my hair when straightening. Whne I added this product into my picked up routine I noticed the different in my hair even with my constant styling every day, every two days, that I couldn't turn back. I have to say that if your hair has gone through a couple of wars, this is definitely a product for you. It revives hair immediately, not only adding shine, but making it feel silky smooth. The smell alone is a reason why I urge you to invest in this product, it is glorious!

cardigan: new look
top: topshop
jeggings: h&m

I really wasn't in any mood to get dressed today and I think that definitely reflects in my outfit. It is a pretty basic outfit but in all honesty I'm shocked that I'm not showing you pictures of my pajamas. There really isn't anything I can say about this outfit based on that fact.

I feel terribly tired lately. I really am having difficulty with my sleeping and it's driving me insane. I don't know what it is that's making me wake up but without fail I find myself waking up every single night at 3am. It's horrible, because then I just lay there for a good hour before I finally fall back to sleep. For someone who likes to get up early so I can make the most out of my day it's really taking it's toll on me. I hate waking up and not feeling refreshed. I really miss the times where I could sleep for 10hrs straight before waking up. Please body, sort it out!

sunday snap #71.

I'm cheating with a pre-taken photo

#1. I'm in my typical Sunday slob day Snap clothing get up of baggy t-shirt and joggers. I enjoy this way of dressing far too much lately but I guess because I don't have anywhere to go, or anything to do, it doesn't really matter.

#2. Really thinking of investing in a cross-trainer. Currently at the moment my way of exercise is a bike and some exercise DVD's but my Dad (who is now a regular gym-goer and thinks he knows everything because of this new way of life) told me that the best way to lose the stubborn weight (aka the fat that will not shift off my backside/body) is by using a cross trainer. I've been scouting around and I think I may have found one at a steal of a price compared to its original price. It's just so hard knowing that my bank balance will host a 200-300£ dent in it when I receive my next bank statement. Then again if I want to get fit again, and I mean properly fit, it could be worth the money (compared to gym being 25£+ a month!) - in the long term is it worth it? Decisions, decisions.

#3. So tempted to go to V Festival. The line up isn't that great but I absolutely love The Stone Roses and Killers so for those alone I would like to go. Plus Tinie Tempah and Ed Sheeran are people that I want to see again. Ahhhh, if only money grew on trees huh?!

#4. To fit in with the whole theme of buying new things (seems to be all I've written about in this weeks roundup) I wanted some advice from readers as to what Mac lipstick to get as my first ever purchase from the brand. I'm really thinking Angel but I'm not sure. I want a "safe" colour considering makeup really isn't something that I'm "in to" as much as fashion. Any suggestions are welcome! :)

cardigan: primarks
top: topshop
skirt: asos
tights: topshop
necklace: h&m
rings: h&m, dorothy perkins

This outfit is so uninspiring that I really don't know why I'm posting. I feel like such a rut with my clothes and stuff lately and I guess it's a lot to do with focusing on work and having to make sure I can make the most out of my day. Sometimes picking an outfit takes way too long, especially if you want to look really good, so I go for "mediocre" and "okay" at the minute.

Today I spent most of my day doing research and work, keeping myself busy with university work and staying on top of it as much as I can. My life is about as interesting as this outfit at the minute, unfortunately for me.

wednesday wants #21 - pastel palette.

I have to say I have become a little excited over the pastel colours that have filled high street stores all around therefore I had to make a wednesday wants post showing some ways in which I would wear the colours.

shoes , jacket , top , shorts , bag , necklace

Look One for me is the perfect Spring wedding outfit. Whilst the colours are cool they compliment each other perfectly. The gold necklace, by Go Go Philip, is defintely something I would invest in if I didn't already own way too many pieces of costume jewellery. I would keep my hair down when wearing this outfit, making sure it held a slight wave to fit in with the casual yet structured feel to the clothes.

dress , denim jacket , watch , shoes , earrings

These shoes are to die for. I am in love with them. Sometimes I wish Topshop didn't have to break my bank, but oh well. Look Two is simple yet so girly that I can't help but smile. It is definitely a spring outfit and you know this from the fact that I've thrown a denim jacket in there. I love denim jackets in the summer, on both guys and girls. Gold accents compliment the cool shades, warming them up instantly.

top , jeans , hoodie , watch , earrings , converse , clutch

Finally Look Three is my casual boyish look that screams American Apparel without a single item from the store. Pastel colours when put together with the right tones can not only brighten but maximize and get the best out of a trend.

I'm really enjoying making these "WW" posts once more. I know they aren't as frequent as they used to be but that is mainly because I'm trying to focus on my university work. I hope this doesn't annoy anyone. On the plus side, my blog is still frequently being updated so that's a positive haha!

coral pink.

blouse: new look
skirt: asos
tights: topshop

Brought this shirt last summer from New Look in both a coral/pinky colour and classic white. I have to say they are a take on a classic shirt and the newer cut (you know, longer at the back than at the front). What I love about these shirts is that they can casual but also smart. I love pieces that are versatile in that way, that I can dress up and down easily.

Still have yet to book me and my macbook an appointment at the apple shop. I'm dreading to hear that it's broken if I'm honest. It's going to suck so badly to have it confirmed to me that I really am computer less. Really hating having to use my brother's old crappy laptop. Oh well it's better than nothing I guess.

sunday snap #70.

#1. Enjoyed spending the day in my pajamas today, catching up with television and doing some uni work. Sometimes you just need those days where you don't really do anything too tasking on the brain.

#2. Went to my best friend's sisters hen night this week! I have to say I had such a fun night! We sampled and made our own cocktails, had a meal and then went out to a night club after... Its the first time I've ever been on a hen night and they are definitely eventful! Honestly had such a great laugh and was very much needed, really looking forward to her wedding now!

#3. I watched A Dangerous Method this week and I have to say Keira Knightley performance in the film was fantastic! I'll admit that she isn't my favourite actress in the whole world but my opinion of her has definitely changed after that film. I would recommend if you can see if, definitely go do so! Some brilliant acting!

#4. Any free time that I had this week outside of Uni/assignment work I made sure I spent chilling. By this I mean I watched films and caught up with television. I finally got to watch My Week With Marilyn and I have to say I really enjoyed the film. Michelle Williams was brilliant. She pulled off Marilyn fantastically, so much so that sometimes I found myself double taking at some of the scenes. She looked the spitting image of her sometimes that it was actually creepy!

top: new look

Firstly, I just want to apologise for the creasing in my top. It's one of those annoying fabrics that creases like a mo-fo (wow, I haven't used that expression in so long!) which is why I rarely wear it. I have to say I love the tonal effect of colours in this outfit. Tobaccos, beiges and nudes always catch my eye, and whilst it can look quiet boring there is something effortlessly chic about it!

I'm really looking forward to my best friends sisters hen-night this weekend! Should be great fun! We're going to a place where we can sample and make our own cocktails before having a meal. I can't wait! This is the first proper hen-night that I've been on (and by that I mean being able to drink too!) and I just can't wait!

I just want to say that for those who follow me on twitter would know that my MacBook has broken. I'm so upset by it, which is stupid considering it can be replaced, but I feel like my whole life was on that thing! Anyway, for future reference I've been schduling a couple of posts on this blog just until my computer is fixed or I get a new one. Sorry if this annoys anyone but I don't want to neglet this blog entirely if I can help it somehow.
